Electric System Planning at MidAmerican Energy Company in Davenport, IA has two electrical engineering positions open.
The work associated with these positions involve Transmission System Planning requiring power flow analysis, stability analysis, etc. required for NERC Compliance and FERC Order 890 and 693. The work includes writing reports, making presentations, etc. The work would potentially include involvement with regional planning and/or the proposed new MidAmerican Energy transmission planning stakeholder process.
At this time we are looking for students that have graduated or will graduate with a BS (or MS) in December, 2007. We need to fill the full time positions ASAP, so a student that is a junior will not satisfy our need to fill the full time positions.
